So the other day Angela from Life of Angela did the questions you never thought to ask tag. I thought it looked fun so I thought I’d give it a try 🙂
What games consoles have you had?
My first games console was a Playstation. The first ever Playstation. Me and my brother got it for Christmas. Then after that I had a Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS and a Wii. I don’t really use games consoles now though!
If you could tame any animal to be your pet, what would it be?
Erm, maybe a penguin? For no other reason than that they’re cute and pretty awesome animals. Not a big one but a small one, like an African penguin or something!
Are you a sexual person?
Um… Well that’s a bit of a weird question? But I’m in to chicklit books so I suppose I’m quite a soppy person?
Foods you despise?
Lamb, pork, beef, ham. I really really hate them (but I’ll eat mince beef and sausages). Also pineapple and coconut are just yuck.
Coolest place you’ve ever visited?
I can’t pick between Norway, Iceland or Bermuda! But if I had to go for one I’d probably say Bermuda. It is great, it’s like half American half British while also having some amazing scenery and corals.
Why did you first start blogging?
I started my blog originally to share book reviews/books I’d read, but then I decided to branch out a bit more in January and do more posts and share more than just books! I hope people like that I don’t just do books anymore?
Favourite item from closet?
Probably my whale t-shirt at the moment!
Do you prefer a backpack/big bag/small bag/just wallet?
Erm, it depends what I’m doing really. When I was working I had a backpack in which I kept my work stuff, but I also have my handbag.
Favourite video/computer/phone game?
Erm, Sims 3? I don’t like Sims 4. I also love Zoo Tycoon.
One celebrity you would sleep with?
I’m not sure! I can’t say I’m really very obsessed with many celebrities.
Favourite traits for a partner/friend?
Loyal, caring, friendly and dependable
Erm, I’m pretty quiet until I get to know people then I can’t half talk! But in general I’m pretty quiet in terms of staying in and reading/preferring quiet nights in rather than going out.
When’s the last time you took a risk?
Erm… I think making the decision to go to Newcastle to study Zoology. I had no idea if I really wanted to do zoology or whether I’d cope being so far away from home. But actually it worked out well. I love Newcastle and miss it dearly and I don’t regret my decision because in the end it meant I could study marine zoology. I mean I’ve probably taken other risks since then but that is probably the biggest one I’ve ever taken.
Fashion trend you’d never do?
I HATE how most of the shorts ladies can buy are short. I mean so short you could see your arse. I mean that’s not right. I’m more modest and prefer knee length shorts/ones that aren’t so revealing!
One physical trait about you that only you notice?
Can I say two? One of my front teeth has moved and is more sticky out than it used to be. Only I notice it though! Also I have a cyst on my face by my right eye that I know is there and can see it but no one else sees it.
One emotional trait about you that only you notice?
I’m pretty sensitive really. Because I care about everything I do, if I’m criticised or feel like I’m doing it wrong I get upset. I’m also quite an anxious person.
3 weird things about you off the top of your head?
- I’m starting to sound more and more like my mum in terms of things I say
- I get up early and don’t/can’t sleep in
- I’m allergic to every single type of nut. Is that a weird thing? I suppose its more normal today than it was in the days when I was first diagnosed with it.
Cheddar, but I also quite like Edam and mozzarella.
3 things you use every day that you need?
My glasses, my house key? and my phone.
Favourite Youtubers/actresses/media people?
I quite like Tom and Gi Fletcher but I’m also impartial to a bit of Zoella.
One thing that makes you happy every day?
My family and friends.
One question you wish you could get an answer to?
What is it like to be carefree and not anxious about things?
Something about your childhood that still affects you to this day?
Erm, when I was about 9 or 10 there was a cat in our house that got in and stayed in overnight. Mum went down and saw the curtains moving and thought someone had broken in to the house… It was the cat that had got in. But it still creeps me out sometimes and I’m not particularly keen on staying at home by myself overnight.
What life is all about for you?
Having a purpose and doing something worthwhile as well as having fun.
So there we have it. Hopefully you’ll have learnt some more random stuff about me now! 🙂 I hope you enjoyed today’s post and please feel free to answer the questions yourself! 🙂
