Hokey Pokey Biscuits (Bake With Me #18)

For today’s post I’m joining Angela from The Life of Angela to bring you a new recipe πŸ™‚ As a collab we decided to set each other a recipe from our own countries for the other to try. I challenged Angela to make a Lemon Drizzle cake, you can see her attempt here, and she challenged me to make some Hokey Pokey Biscuits.

Now I’ve never heard of Hokey Pokey biscuits before, but I used this recipe here. They were really tasty and so simple and quick to make!

They only needed 6 basic ingredients, which were all in my fridge/cupboard anyway πŸ™‚

Cream the butter and sugar together then warm the milk and syrup and add the bicarbonate of soda.

Then add the milk/syrup mix to the butter mix then add the flour.

Bring the mixture into small balls and place them on to the baking sheet. Then using a fork lightly press them down.

Bake for around 15 minutes then enjoy! πŸ™‚

I really enjoyed making these, they were so simple but really good. They tasted kind of butterscotch like. πŸ™‚ Don’t forget to check out Angela’s post! πŸ™‚
