Today I thought I’d share with you what a day in my life is like. I wouldn’t say it is an incredibly accurate representation as when I’m at uni it is pretty much work all day, but this is a bit more of an exciting day than normal so I thought I’d share! 🙂 Maybe one day I’ll do a day in my life at uni so you can see the difference! XD
07:30 – Alarm goes off, lay in bed playing on my phone, checking emails, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, news etc.
08:00 – get out of bed and make breakfast and get a cup of tea. Today I had porridge for breakfast 🙂 While eating my breakfast I tend to watch something on TV/my laptop.
09:00 – Get dressed and make my bed. Also I packed my bag for going out. Sorry for the terrible lighting in the photo!
09:20 – Flute practice. I passed my grade 8 last year so I’m not really practicing for anything specifically, but I’m in the orchestra at the university so I need to make sure I keep my stamina up over the holiday 🙂
09:40 – Work. Here I am proofreading a piece of coursework and checking it against the brief.
10:30 – My grandad arrived to pick me up to go out.
11:30 – Arrive at Winkworth Arboretum. Part of my uni course requires me to recognise and identify some common trees. So I went out to a National Trust gardens with my grandad to practice identifying and naming trees 🙂
15:00 – Go shopping. One thing I’m often in charge of at home is making dinner. We didn’t have anything in for dinner tonight so on the way home with my grandad we stopped at Sainsburys to pick up some food.
16:10 – Get home, put shopping away and get a cup of tea 🙂
16:30 – More work!
18:10 – Start making dinner ready for mum and dad when they get home. Tonight it is (cheating) risotto.
18:40 – Eat dinner with everyone.
20:00 – More work!
21:30 – Pack up work, get ready for bed and sit in bed reading my book until I’m too sleepy to read any more!
I hope you enjoyed today’s post? 🙂 See you all again soon 🙂
